How to Fix Paramount Plus Playback Stuttering
If you are trying to watch a show on Paramount Plus and the video keeps freezing, stuttering, or showing a black screen, it usually points to a connection drop or a memory issue on your streaming device.
1. Lower the Video Quality (If Possible)
Sometimes your internet cannot handle the highest quality stream. If you are on a computer or mobile device, try lowering the video quality in the settings gear icon. On a TV, this is usually handled automatically, but you can force it to recalibrate by pausing the video for a minute.
2. Clear Your Device's Cache
Your TV or streaming stick might be running out of memory.
- Roku: Unplug the Roku for 30 seconds and plug it back in.
- Fire TV: Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Paramount Plus > Clear Cache.
3. Restart Your Router
